10:00 AM – 11:30 AM – Heritage Feast
11:50 AM – Early Dismissal
About the Heritage Feast
This beloved GWCS tradition began in 2000, when a student approached Ms. Warden with the idea of hosting a Thanksgiving dinner at school. Ms. Warden, a true champion of community and potluck gatherings, embraced the idea—and a tradition was born.
Originally, families brought their favorite Thanksgiving dishes. But in 2010, the event evolved to reflect the vibrant diversity of our school. Families began sharing dishes that represent their unique cultural heritage, and our Thanksgiving potluck became the Heritage Feast. Ms. Warden even composed a catchy jingle that fills our halls every November!

Crockpots work well for keeping hot dishes warm! We will NOT be able to reheat in the microwave.
The Refrigerator has limited space- send cold dishes with ice packs.
Label your dishes and utensils with your name and take them back home at the end of the feast. Please remember to note if your dish is Vegan or Vegetarian as well!
Set-Up And Clean-Up parent volunteers are needed. See first two signup slots!
