Mission Statement

Founded in the summer of 1999, the GW Community School embraces as its mission the development and implementation of a holistic educational program which will develop and optimize the giftedness and intelligence of each student in an in-depth, enriched, and technically advanced college preparatory environment that emphasizes authentic application of knowledge, not merely assimilation of information.

Students will experience academic success and the development of social awareness and responsibility in an atmosphere where all are treated with respect and courtesy.

GWCS Summer School 2009

Summer is a great opportunity to catch up on classes you may have missed, get inspired, and get ahead! Be a part of a community where teachers love to teach, and students love to learn.

Session I: Courses:	June 25 - July 24 Geometry English 11/12 Algebra II / Trig.
Session II: Courses:	July 30 - September 2 U.S. History Chemistry Algebra I
Hours:	8:00 am - 2:30 pm (If this is a class you are taking to get ahead.) 9:00 am - 12:00 pm (If you are repeating a class.)
Cost:	$1,250 (First Time Class) $1,000 (Repeat Class)

Class sizes of 10 or less
