SPEAKING OF COMMUNITY SERVICE...

Congratulations to the 22 GWCS students who have completed the expected 30 hours of community service for this year (7.5 hours per quarter for those who joined us part way through the year).  There are only four weeks left in this school year!  Not sure if you've reached 30 hours yet?  Go to your CoyoteWeb account and select "Activity Sessions".   (Remember, up to 10 GWCS event activity hours can be added to your community service hour total!)

Bobby has his internship at Habitat for Humanity on Fridays and now volunteers there on Saturdays!  Way to go Bobby!

If you have participated in community service events outside of school, remember to give Ms. Mauney a completed GWCS Community Service form before the end of the school year.

The GWCS Community Service requirement and hours earned each year are included on your final high school transcript.  For more information refer to page 20 of your GWCS Parent/Student Handbook.

Note:  The Cystic Fibrosis Walk is this weekend and volunteers are also needed for Ronald McDonald House on Monday!  Also, students who volunteer at graduation will receive community service hours.
