Forms Due by September 2nd

  1. EMERGENCY FORM: Please complete and return the 2025-2026 Emergency Form to the basket on the front desk by Tuesday, September 2nd. It is very important that we have this completed form without delay.

  2. HEALTH FORM: All students are required to have on record a Virginia School Entrance Health Form (or similar immunization record). (You can check student’s CoyoteWeb account to see whether or not we have their immunization on file.)

  3. MAT MEDICATION FORM: If it is necessary for a student to take medication prescribed by a physician during school hours or during a school-sponsored trip, please have your physician complete the MAT Physicians Medication Consent form (one for each prescription) and provide GWCS medications in the original prescription container. Medications will be administered during the school day by Mr. Mallonee.

  4. PARENT-STUDENT HANDBOOK: It is important that parents and students take the time to read the entire Parent-Student Handbook, and complete the GWCS Parent Student Handbook Agreement. This needs to be printed, signed and returned to the basket on the front desk by Wednesday, August 28th.

GWCS 1st Period Gym at Audrey Moore RECenter begins the second week of school on Wednesday, September 3rd at 8:00 am!

  1. Read THIS info sheet to learn all about your PE options and membership at Audrey Moore.

  2. Click HERE to signup for your PE class choice before Wednesday, September 3, 2025.

  3. Arrive at Audrey Moore by 8:00 am! Students will be transported to GWCS from the gym.

Schedule Your Senior College Conference

for EARLY ACTION / EARLY DECISION APPLICANTS - regular decision conferences will take place later.

Ms. Warden and Mr. Connelly will meet with GWCS seniors and their parents between 9/9 and 9/25. Click on the blue button below to reserve your conference date and time.

Log Your Community Service Hours

GWCS students are expected to complete a minimum of 30 hours of community service each school year. Up to 10 hours can be school-sponsored events, such as trips and events. Students also have the opportunity to perform their community service hours through school-sponsored community service activities. However, students may complete their hours at any institution, facility, or program that is approved by the Director.  Students who enroll mid-year should complete 7.5 hours of community service per quarter.  Questions?
