Now, as I begin my journey at GW Community School, I am also working towards an M.A. in Secondary Education at George Mason University. My path has been shaped by a variety of roles, from English Language tutor and outdoors camp counselor to hardware store employee, real estate asset management intern, auto detailer, and dishwasher. In my free time, I like to read, hike, ride my bike, and play guitar and bass.
COURSES TAUGHT:
ECONOMICS
There are many ways to define economics, but the most obvious definition is that economics is the study of the economy. The word economy refers to all the things which people produce and consume. In the economy, there are many different kinds of activities. Whether somebody is buying a pizza, driving a car, or building a house, they are all part of the economy. Any one economic activity also has infinite effects on the rest of the economy. For instance, if Saudi Arabia goes to war, your gas prices will likely go up. This class will explore the great web of human activity we call the economy, and explain why it matters to you.
