The 2018 GWCS Prom Committee's Hot Dog Lunch fundraiser was a huge hit last Tuesday, March 20th!  As the rain POURED outside, students and staff lined up for hot dogs!  (Anne panini grilled the hot dogs since the grill was not an option! Yum!) Fingers crossed it will pour down rain every Tuesday for the next few months!  The next Hot Dog Lunch Fundraiser is on the day we return from spring break, Tuesday, April 3rd, and continues EVERY TUESDAY until May 28th!

so... Stash a little cash in your pocket on TUESDAY mornings and enjoy a scrumptious lunch!

  • $5.00 for DOG, CHIPS & IZZE

  • $1.00 FOR JUST CHIPS

  • $2.00 FOR JUST IZZE

  • bun included and fixin's are free

All proceeds go towards the 2018 GWCS Prom!

PS - 'Hot Dogs' is not the theme for this year's prom, we promise!  The theme that won by student vote was 'Enchanted Forest'!

GRADUATION QUILTS - PIN & SEW...

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

quilt.jpeg

Every year PAC parents sew a twin size quilt for each graduate.  Ms. Warden personally selects a meaningful fabric print for each graduate's quilt. The print selected is based on the students' interests and personality. Parent volunteers sew the print fabric to a twin size comforter.

Before graduation, the quilts are laid out at school for an autograph party. Students, teachers, staff, and even alumni  happen to stop by, sign the back of the quilts (much like you would a yearbook) with fabric markers. The quilts are presented to each graduate at the graduation ceremony by fellow underclassmen.  It's a very meaningful GWCS tradition!

No sewing experience necessary.   Contact Linda Campbell if you are interested in volunteering!
