GRADUATION VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Underclassmen Parents - Please Sign Up!

GWCS graduation is the perfect exemplification of the expression "it takes a village".   Although we are a very small school, our graduation is a huge celebration that goes on for three hours!  The ceremony includes speeches by our fearless Directors: Ms. Warden and Mr. Goldie as well as emotion and comedy filled individual speeches given by every single senior.  Then there are the various awards, the senior quote and quilt giving and, of course, the diploma distribution.  All of this is followed by a delicious catered reception and a walk down memory board lane.

How can a small school like GWCS pull off such an incredible event?  Simple, our underclassmen parents step up to the plate every year to volunteer to take on bits and pieces of this celebration. With everyone contributing their part, this huge job is enjoyably manageable.  Please click on the image below to read about the various graduation volunteer positions and then signup for a way that you can contribute to the 2015 GWCS Graduation!  Volunteer positions vary in the amount of time and effort needed as well as when... some jobs need to be done in advance (like NOW), others during graduation and a few organizational efforts after the celebration.  Keep in mind, when your child is a senior you get to sit back and just enjoy all the graduation festivities!
