GWCS Welcomes New Students

The Student Government Association (SGA) kicked off the 2010 fall term with a new student meet-and-greet. The Friday before school began, SGA members showed new students around the school, introduced them to GWCS faculty, and spoke on how the school’s core values--learning, service, kindness,  excellence,  investment,  team play, intellectual curiosity,  and responsibility—are lived out every day. Everyone then adjourned to the nearby Subway for some tasty subs.

Upcoming SGA activities include the camping trip at Burke Lake on Sept. 24-25 for freshmen, sophomores, and SGA reps; and Back-to-School night on October 7, where SGA reps will be available to answer questions from parents.
