GWCS Performs The Complete History of America (Abridged)

On Friday, May 20th, The GW Community Theatre kept the audience laughing all night with its hilarious production of the Complete History of America (Abridged).  The cast of 4 (Matthew Gaughan, William McCarthy, Alyssa Michener and Jack Vroom) thoroughly enjoyed themselves as they performed this very clever play by Adam Long, Reed Martin and Austin Tichenor to a packed and appreciative audience.

The play is a series of smart, silly, slapstick skits that tell the history of America in two hours.  The actors had a lot of material to work with and did a great job under the excellent direction of Mr. Hartman, assisted by student director Anne Marie McDonald.  Helping backstage were Mr. Connelly, Mr. Reiser, Simone Goldstone and Ryan House.  Richie Catherina worked sound for the show and Ms. Bowen, Anne Marie McDonald and Laura Mauney were responsible for props and artwork.  Congratulations to everyone for a great show.
