GW community donates over $800 for Ronald McDonald House meals

A special thanks goes out to the GWCS community for donating over $800 for our weekly dinner making at Ronald McDonald House. Every Monday after school, I take three students to the Northern Virginia Ronald McDonald House next to the INOVA Fairfax Hospital. We bring food and prepare a homemade meal for the families who live at the house so they can spend more time with family members who are ill. In the seven-plus years that we have been providing this service, we have received so many expressions of gratitude and compliments about our cooking and positive attitudes both from staff at the house and the families. Without donations to purchase the food each week this would not be possible so, again, I wanted to send an extra big thank you to the GW community!
