36 GWCS community members trekked into downtown Washington on Wednesday, May 6th to participate in the 4th Annual Great Strides Cystic Fibrosis Walk. And although they got caught in a downpour halfway through the walk (not Patrick Maton or Blake Colling-Hottell, they ran the entire course!) students, teachers, parents and alumni alike persevered to raise money and awareness for this great cause. In the end, the community raised over $2,000 to help find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. |
